The  music and art is good but the level design can be better. The placement of the enemies and ground could definitely be better as it currently feels like they were randomly placed. I feel that the questions you need to answer to proceed are redundant and there are a few bugs such as the chest not appearing and it took me a while to figure out that I had to press Q for the knife to appear. The restart button could restart the level instead of the game, especially considering that you cannot save progress. It isn't much of a problem currently as it's a short game but if you make it longer you should definitely consider that.

I love the music and art. Consider adding sound effects to a few actions/events, or all of them. Sound effects really add to a game, no matter what kind of sound they are.

Also, it could just be me, but I didn't find a chest at all in the first level, and the second level just had me start with a knife. Another thing to mention is that it felt a little misleading how you couldn't climb up ladders.

I'm curious to see where this game goes, I think it'll definitely feel better with a little more polishing, keep at it!

Hey thanks for the review! it is wierd with the chest not spawning... havent seen that problem before, it shoud be just at the start with a "Q" letter over it. I actually just added sound effects to the original game. I am also working on climbing ladders. on chrome (work pc) getting

when clicking, instead of throwing dagger.

Don't know if this is browser dependent or  something that got borked while updating the crates.

edit: turned out to be a loading glitch. (it takes a little too long to load in all the code)

happy it fixed itself!

it would be better if the game waited until it's fully loaded/initialized before starting gameplay

stuck in second area with crates, key platform one tile too high to jump on with out crate collision

The game has many glitches, but that is expected when the game isn't done. I rally like the art and i think this can be a good game if you just fix the glitches.
